Kayakers Seek Development in Gauley Bridge

I recently had the opportunity to meet up with local Fayetteville resident and avid kayaker, Bill Corley, after his group finished their trip at Gauley Bridge.  Bill has seen the interest in boating this area grow over the years.  And his facebook group, Kayak Gauley Bridge Kanawha Falls, now has over a thousand members who regularly share images from their adventures and news of upcoming events.

Bill has expressed a desire in seeing new development in and around Gauley Bridge;  Episode 12 of Beacon News West Virginia is to share that vision and invite you to come along for a float.  A bonus on this outing was meeting Michelle Martin and learning about her organization that serves to clean up West Virginia rivers.

If you enjoy this episode, please pass it along, leave a comment and become a subscriber on Rumble 😊

Thanks for watching!
