On a recent visit to my local Lowe's warehouse, I noticed a parking space that had been thoughtfully decorated for Memorial Day.  Curious about this display I had never noticed in previous years, I went inside to ask some questions and learn more.  Store Manager, Joe Richmond, was kind enough to take several minutes and explain the history of how the retail giant observes Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
