SkillsUSA WV Competition

Mar 27 2022 | By: Amy Thornton

Share

High School students from across West Virginia recently participated in the SkillsUSA state competition in Fairmont and Clarksburg, WV.  There are a variety of technical programs involved with this national organization such as welding, culinary arts, carpentry, criminal justice, automotive and architectural drafting to name just a few.   I met some very motivated and talented students on this trip, including one that already has his own successful business at 18 years old!

Enjoy episode 5, with some student interviews, scenes from competition and a few words from West Virginia SkillsUSA Director, Melissa Wilkinson on the latest video.
